FRA launches this negotiated procedure with the objective to conclude a direct contract for the provision of catering (banqueting) services at its premises at Schwarzenbergplatz 11, 1040 Vienna.

FRA plans to organize several meetings during the next 6 months with an estimated number of participants between 20-50 persons. The FRA building has two catering areas (atrium and canteen). FRA will provide the rectangular tables for the buffet and standing round tables for the lunches. FRA will also provide access to power and water supply.

 

The contractor will be requested to provide the following services:

a) Catering: Provision of food and beverages for catering purposes such as welcome coffees, coffee breaks, lunches;

b) Staff: Provision of related human resources for the set-up, serving and dismantling of the catering stations;

c) Equipment and delivery: Provisions of related catering equipment (cutleries, tablecloth, etc.), delivery and collection.

 

Selection criteria

Candidates will be required to provide evidence that they possess the minimum capacity to perform the contract:

Technical and professional capacity

Candidates (in case of a joint tender the combined capacity of all members of the group and identified subcontractors) must prove experience in the field of providing catering services.

  • At least 2 similar (in scope and complexity) projects completed in the last three years preceding the tender submission deadline (Form 9 of Annex II – Standard Submission Form).

No documents proving the fulfilment of these criteria are requested at this stage.

Participation in this negotiated procedure for a low value contract is open to natural and legal persons falling within the scope of the EU Treaties (this includes all economic operators established in the European Union) and to all natural and legal persons established in a third country which has a special agreement with the Union in the field of public procurement on the conditions laid down in that agreement. FRA is not part of the Agreement on Government Procurement (GPA) concluded within the World Trade Organisation. Therefore, the procurement procedure is not open to candidates from GPA countries.
